Welcome to the Kappa Upsilon chapter of the Beta Beta Beta Biological Honor Society! We are a nationally recognized organization that inspires natural science students to pursue research in the sciences. Our chapter provides a unique social environment and local volunteering opportunities that are ideal for undergraduates interested in graduate school, a career in medicine, or just science in general!

ResearchWe encourage our members to become involved with research on campus, whether that means attending a presentation or starting a project of their own! Many of our senior members and officers have undergraduate research or pre-professional experience, and can give you the resources and advice you need to get started. Check out our Meet Our Officers page to see what we're working on!

VolunteeringService is a big part of our mission at TriBeta. In the past, our members have volunteered with local animal shelters, hospice facilities, community gardens, and food banks. Some of us have even worked as volunteer assistants with scientists in the field! We make sure to provide plenty of service opportunities so our members have a chance to give back to the Austin community. See what volunteering opportunities we have planned on our Facebook page!

Community At TriBeta, we host social events so our members can meet other students and become familiar with the UT campus and the surrounding city. Over the years, we have held banquets, attended festivals, and hosted end of semester parties to make sure everyone in our chapter feels like part of the UT TriBeta family! Want to know what kind of events we have planned for this week? Head over to our News and Events page to find out!
